The scourge of modern man: online package tracking. I have a DIY loudspeaker kit coming from the US, and a new home theatre amp from a local retailer. And every 2 hours I'm checking the shipping status!

you too? I bought some nerf guns online (my house mates have been ambushing me everyday) with 200 rounds, i'm just itching to get back at them.

Just signup for email updates on your tracking numbers. Each time they are scanned you'll get an email.

I'm starting small with the Overnight Sensation bookshelf speaker kit from Parts Express. If that works out I'll get a small sub kit, then a centre channel, then some floor standing towers... We'll see how it goes one step at a time.

I should have thought of this, I've done it before. Except that when I don't get an email for 8 hours, I get impatient and check online anyways.

The shorter the expected shipping time, the worse I handle it.
